Crisosto Apache is a Native American (Mescalero Apache, Chiricahua Apache, and Diné) poet,teacher, and advocate of the indigenous cause, especially the “two spirit identity” (Indigiqueer). Some of his most famous works, like his first collection, “Genesis” explore the themes of cultural identity and memory.
