Cthulhu Invictus - The Clockwork Oracle 1-1

Our investigators work for the Army of Metellius, fighting in the Shadow War. Their contact is the spirit of Metellius and he tells them that there is a disturbance in Crete in the House of Dexius. Things are in flux and happening quickly and investigators must go immediately. When they arrive and begin asking around about House Dexius, they are given an invite to meet at House Barrius at sundown. Sabina finds out that House Barrius is tied to House Dexius by marriage. When they arrive at House Dexius they are met by the two sons and daughter of Dexius Latinus. The children fear their father has been bewitched by a mysterious engineer who gave him a clockwork bird toy that he claims can predict the future.
