Curing Childhood Cancer One Step at a Time - Hyundai Hope on Wheels

Last year, nearly 15-thousand children were diagnosed with cancer, and sadly 1,590 died from the disease. Thankfully 90% of children survive, but a 10% death rate is still far too high.  One of the leaders in pediatric cancer research is the nonprofit Hyundai Hope On Wheels. Over the past 27 years, the organization has donated $227 million and awarded 1,400 research and program grants to more than 175 medical institutions. This year, the nonprofit plans to donate $27 million and expand its efforts into Canada and Mexico.  Executive Director John Guastaferro and 10-year old cancer survivor and Youth Ambassador Jackson Trinh explain the program and its miracles.  Both are HEROS in cancer survivability and positivity!
