That band was Rough Cutt, and their self-titled debut album became an instant classic, produced by Tom Allom—the man behind the board for Judas Priest and Def Leppard and having the legendary Ronnie James and Wendy Dio co-writing the track "Take Her."Fast forward to 2025, and founding drummer Dave Alford has put together Rockin' Dave's Rough Cutt to celebrate 40 years of amazing Rough Cutt music.
