ד״ר עופר שחם, היה לוחם שייטת והשלים תואר במדעי המחשב בהנדסת חשמל ומדעי המחשב כשהוא החליט לעשות קפיצה קטנה ללימודים באוניברסיטת סטנפורד. הקפיצה הזו לשנתיים הסתיימה אחרי 17 שנה, כשהוא מוכר חברה לגוגל ומוביל את קבוצת הסיליקון של גוגל, שהפכה להיות התשתית של הטלפונים מסוג פיקסל, ואחר כך הוביל קבוצה דומה גם בפייסבוק, בניסיון להיות את התשתית של משקפי המציאות הרבודה שמארק צוקרברג השקיע בה מיליארדים רבים. בין היתר הוא גם אמר לא להצעה מפתה מסרגיי ברין עצמו להישאר בגוגל, ואז בסוף 2023 אמר שלום גם למטא, והקים את מג׳סטיק לאבס, חברה שבונה את הדור הבא של השרתים שאמורים להוות את התשתית לחוות של העתיד שיריצו את עולם הבינה המלאכותית. עם גיוס של מעל מאה מיליון דולר ועשרות עובדים בכפר סבא ולוס אלטוס, שחם מאמין שגם מישראל אפשר להקים חברה משמעותית שיכולה לנצח במירוץ אל חוות השרתים של העתיד אפילו את אנבידיה, החברה הכי גדולה בעולם.
