d4vd's Location Data Put Him WHERE After Celeste Died?!

The prosecution's case against d4vd shifted from evidence to motive on Day 2 of his preliminary hearing — and then digital records allegedly put Burke on a remote highway ninety-five miles from his home. An Interscope executive and a money manager testified that Burke earned more than $10 million between 2022 and 2025, establishing the financial stakes prosecutors say drove the alleged killing of Celeste Rivas Hernandez. The money manager admitted knowing Celeste's first name before the body was found. He also testified that after the remains were discovered, Burke's team switched to encrypted messaging and Burke discussed transferring properties to protect them from civil lawsuits. A CHP officer described a Caltrans worker's discovery of Celeste's passport card in brush along State Route 154 in Santa Barbara County. Prosecutors say Burke's location data places him at that exact spot twice following the alleged murder. The defense challenged the passport's chain of custody.
