oday's daily bible reading comes from the books of Isaiah chapters 39 & 40, and Mark chapter 10.   Takeaways from Isaiah 39 & 40 39) Ups & downs of Hezekiah… Pride and humility… Babylon was an enemy of Assyria, God had just wiped out 185k Assyrians… buttered up Hezekiah, “the enemy of my enemy…”. BUT why show off all of your wealth? The only rational answer is pride.
