Today's daily bible reading comes from the book of Isaiah chapters 41 & 42.    In this reading, we are blessed to see more insight into the nature/character of God. His relationship to his chosen people is inspiring, and his unhappiness when men choose to serve themselves or serve idols made of imperfect or perishable materials.   In chapter 42, the mood changes a bit and we have another section of messianic prophecy referring to Christ as the Servant of God.
