Daily Bible Reading Day 43 - Isaiah 53, 54, & 55 and Mark 13

Today's daily bible reading comes from the book of Isaiah chapters 53, 54, and 55 followed by Mark chapter 13.    Isaiah 53 is arguably one of the most often read, quoted, and referenced chapters in the Bible. It clearly foretells the type of death, torture, and punishment that Jesus would endure on our behalf.  Incredible!  Chapter 54 is a plea from God to return to him and his promises to protect us.  Chapter 55 is an amazing and beautiful invitation from the Father to His children.    In Mark chapter 13, we actually get a lot of things directly from Jesus.
