Daily Bible Reading Day 60 - Exodus 29 & 30 and James 1

Today's daily bible reading comes from Exodus chapters 29 & 30 followed by the book of James, chapter 1.   In Exodus 29 & 30, God continues to instruct Moses on how he wanted his Priests to be consecrated and made Holy. This included instructions on how to make the garments Aaron and his sons were to wear as well as the rituals needed to prepare them to serve in that role as God's Priests. The sacrifices, burning of incense, creation of the anointing oil as well as the instructions of several more of the vessels to be used in those rituals were also given.   The book of James has been likened to the New Testament "Proverbs" because it contains so many "nuggets" of wisdom. In Chapter 1, we are instructed to ask God for wisdom as well as to be doers of the word and not hearers only.
