Damien Thomlinson - Amputee Golf , Commando & Resilience

Episode 21 of the Tee It Up Golf Podcast , Q & Benny are joined by Damien Thomlinson who is one of the world's biggest golf fanatics and the most incredibly determined individual we will ever have the pleasure of meeting ..Damien is currently ranked #55 in the World Ranking for Golfers with Disability (WR4GD) and has held a handicap as low as 5 !! Damien served as a Commando in the Australian Army for 4 years, but While on night patrol in Afghanistan in April 2009, the vehicle he was in ran over an improvised explosive device, suffering wounds to his face, arms and legs; the damage to his legs was so severe that they were amputated. Throughout the episode Damien talks us through his Journey so far and the amazing life has lived since he left the Australian Army.
