Dancing Through Cancer

This is a very, very different podcast than our usual.  Today we have a family on the podcast telling their story of their experiences as cancer survivors and as caregivers.  Lucia Fernandez Silveira, LMFT and Director of Coral Gables Counseling Center, was a caregiver for both her daughter, Cristina and her sister Emy.  Cristina Nicole Fernandez, Esq., is a Family Lawyer and the Divorce Coach here at the Coral Gables Counseling Center and Lucia's daughter.  Emy Fernandez, is the co-host of The Counseling Corner and the Life and Wellness Coach at the Center.  Both Cristina and Emy are cancer survivors.  Also, Emy was a caregiver for their mother, who was also diagnosed with cancer at the same time that Cristina was. Listen in as they share their story and their tips on how they overcame this very difficult time.  You will want to not only listen in but also share this episode with family and friends who may be going – or went - through cancer or lived through it as a caregiver.
