Send us Fan MailThis week we are joined with Danette Mahabeer. She is a publisher, author and domestic violence survivor. Danette is a born again Christian and her main philosophy is  "I can do al things through Christ who strengthens me". Danette was born and raised in rural Jamaica in a single parent family with 4 siblings. She migrated to the US at age 25. This is when she quickly married the father of her child and the abuse began. The threatened to have her deported but she fought her way through to get her and her daughter to a safe place and make the United States her home. Support the show
