Danger

“Danger” once meant being under the power of a master not merely facing trouble. In its original sense, we are in danger whenever we live under authorities, debts, or systems that claim dominion beyond what God allows. Scripture warns that “other lords” ruling over us is true danger (Isaiah 26:13). Only under God’s dominion and God-fearing authority are we truly safe. Every power that refuses submission to Christ leads to destruction. Modern society, ruled by false masters, is a dangerous place indeed. The question isn’t just what threatens you but who rules you.
