Despite originally telling me I'd have housing support until January 2025, they suddenly switched up in September, targeting me and other Black women. Their excuse? That I wasn’t verifying my income—when in reality, that’s exactly why I was there that day!It gets deeper… They even had an insider at my job leaking details about my FMLA claim—while I was in therapy, trying to process the trauma they were putting me through. And when I pushed back and had IHCDA investigate, suddenly I was labeled the problem—"abusive," "threatening," and "non-compliant."They said they could remove me "whenever they wanted"—and that’s exactly what they did.
