Dani is a Georgia native who is currently living in Asheville, NC. Dani is the host of her own podcast, Illuminating You, by the Society of Authentic Living, where her guests share stories of overcoming different struggles by remaining resilient. In her early years, Dani struggled with depression, an eating disorder, and self-harming behaviors, which eventually morphed into an addiction to drugs and alcohol. After getting clean and sober in 2020, Dani began working in the substance abuse field as a behavioral health technician, and eventually earned her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Georgia to help clients as a therapist. Today, Dani works full time as a therapist at Asheville Recovery Center and part time as a therapist with Berman Psychotherapy, where she strives to assist her clients and their families gain necessary tools for lasting sobriety and happy lives.
