The song ‘115’ from ‘Soft’ was also nominated for ‘Durham Song of the Year’ in the 2021 Oshawa Music Awards. The song ‘Waiting’ from ‘Suspension’ has been performing well on Spotify with over 50,000 streams since its release in March of 2022. Raymond's songwriting and musical style have been described as 'distinctly Canadian' - with a number of his songs, including 'Palmateer', '115' and 'Peterborough' referencing specific Canadian people and places.
