Danielle Alvarez: Founder, The Bonita Project

from Girls Gone Boss · host Alex Pender, Gaby Ortega

Danielle Alvarez, grew up in the vibrant, eclectic city of Miami. After graduating from the University of Florida, she packed up her life and moved to New York City determined to make her mark in the world PR. She landed at a top PR company where she hooked up with a variety of mass and prestige beauty and lifestyle brands to manage product launches, coordinate events, and handle outreach to press and influencers alike. It’s also where she built an entire division focused on multicultural media throughout the U.S., partnering with publications like Latina, People en Español, Essence, Ebony, and more to promote and expand her client base. As a result of gaining a deep understanding of the nuances of the cross-cultural consumer, Danielle decided to aim even higher and launch The Bonita Project where she bridges the gap between general and multicultural markets to build buzz for her brands and create a detailed, creative, and inclusive PR strategy for every client.
