Darius Rucker surprises fans with new venture outside of music | Music City Music

I have a confession in my not-so-distant past: I was obsessed with professional wrestling, which culminated in a peak fan moment of meeting Rey Mysterio Junior. If that seems like a surprising admission, I have more for you! As it turns out, Darius Rucker (yes, Hootie) is a huge professional wrestling fanboy. In fact, he is such a big fan he signed a deal with WWE to get a slice of a pie through merchandise. The "Wagon Wheel" singer has launched a new clothing line with WWE and Fanatics featuring t-shirts, flannels and jackets, with prices ranging between $40 and $110. Now, with all this exciting news, we cannot help but wonder if Rucker is going to find himself climbing into the ring anytime soon. I mean, he is an incredibly fit guy for almost 60. Moreover, if he does suit up the spandex, what do you think his wrestling name would be?
