Dark Matter

from The Adverbs · host The Adverbs

What's everywhere and can't be seen or experienced or even undeniably proven to exist but must be there or we'd all implode into nothingness? No, not nice taxis (though there's still no proof they they exist either),,,it's dark matter people! The glue that holds the very universe together and ensures our eventual inevitable annihilation (though not for a couple of years yet). Come celebrate this thing with us! As per usual, Johnny lyriced and bassed, and Joey yarbled and did all the rest. Here's the words: Dark Matter Got to infer Dark matter Can't really know it's there But there's a bunch of Dark matter Most prob'ly everywhere Out there in vacuumed parsecs Of ancient primal space And here in my cerebellum Under the fun and games Just lately I've been wonderin' How they get that oil from shale And sorta tryin to figure How did cavemen clip their nails? This world is complicated So hard to understand And though the sky is blue I sense a comet flashing Above the Great Karoo Got to infer Dark matter Can't really know it's there But there's a bunch of Dark matter Most probably everywhere
