Darren McMullen & Tristan - AMAZING RACE - TV Host & Presenter

Today’s episode of the podcast I am joined by the official winners of The Amazing Race: Celerity Edition. It is the very gracious and enigmatic TV host, actor, presenter Darren McMullen and his nephew Tristan.   We have the band back together via Zoom and we are going to get some very excited stories from the McMullen family as I am sure they will not censor their themselves as they unpack their time on Amazing Race Australia. Darren McMullen is a Scottish-Australian personality who has been entertaining audiences for many years. He was born in Glasgow, Scotland, and immigrated with his family to Australia at the age of 12. He is best known as the co-host of The Voice Australia but has gone onto many other exciting roles right across all the free to air networks. He was one of the biggest names in to join the celebrity version of the hit show and boy does he know how to make some TV and raise revenue for charities. The boys did an outstanding job and brought down the house with an emotional end to the series that will be remembered as one of the most iconic finale’s ever.  I will find out about his rift with George and what he thought about taking on a wiggle and Simpson in that finale. Tristan will talk about why he has been turned off working in television and what Uncle Darren is really like between takes.  Darren will share is rational in creating that heroic and generous end to the series.
