Date: August 31, 2026. Lesson 171-2026. Title: When Confidence and Reality Collide

In today’s Morning Manna, Rick Wiles and Doc Burkhart examine Proverbs 28:9–11 and three dangerous forms of self-deception. Solomon warns that prayer cannot substitute for obedience, that those who deliberately lead the righteous astray are ultimately constructing their own downfall, and that wealth can insulate a person from the correction needed for genuine wisdom. This lesson challenges us to open our ears to God before asking Him to hear us, guard our influence over others, and never confuse success, status, or confidence with genuine spiritual discernment.
