UNFILTERED: I’m joined by a 29 year old woman who opens up about her eight year relationship that ultimately ended because of her partner’s addiction to alcohol. She shares how his struggle with alcohol use went unnoticed during college as heavy drinking is common in greek life culture, but how it became more noticible post-grad, once they lived together, and when covid hit. She shares how she tried to support him and encourage him to be sober, how his alcohol use impacted her, and what it finally took took for him to get sober.
