Dave Brooks is a Cleveland rock legend. He was the one who encouraged a young Jani Lane to leave the drums in order to go out front and become a singer. He got a record deal with his band Slammin' Gladys (album executive produced by Jani), but the debut album came out in 1992 as grunge was taking over the music industry. Dave has continued to perform and record throughout the years, and he came on to talk about his entire career, the life and death of Jani Lane, and so much more.
