Dave could have given up. Many times, others' actions and words told him he wasn't worth much, would never amount to anything. But he didn't give up. Instead, today he's a successful trial attorney who works for the biggest names in business and exploration and who is regularly sought out for his legal skills and knowledge on still-developing exploration (ocean and space) law. He's also an explorer himself, having been to the Titanic five times, recovered Apollo F-1 engines from the bottom of the ocean, and much more.
