The Government's looking to level the playing field for pharmacies and ease pressure on GPs. Consultation's open on allowing pharmacists to dispense funded medication for pain and fever, scabies, lice, conjunctivitis, UTIs, and the emergency contraceptive pill. Kiwis currently have to pay the medication's full pharmacy price, or obtain a GP prescription.
