Dawn McCarthy spent over 10 years in the Telecommunications industry before entering the magazine business and the public relations field. She worked for Telecommunication companies owned by the Estee Lauder family, the Khasoggi family and top executives in New York , Virginia and Los Angeles. She started out as an executive assistant to the Vice President at RSL Communications and then into marketing and sales where she realized her expertise. While traveling the world in Telecom Dawn was on a quest to find the best products to conserve space, make the most of her appearance, and travel lighter. She soon became the “go to” gal for product recommendations. Almost one year ago, Dawn found a new home with It's a Glam Thing, a premiere online beauty and lifestyle destination.
