Sometimes pain is difficult enough.Then the mind adds a verdict:“Maybe this is karma.”“Maybe I’m paying for something.”“Maybe I deserve this.”Lesson 103 says:“God, being Love, is also happiness.”Perhaps difficulty does not automatically mean Love has withdrawn.Sometimes life is simply difficult.We can take responsibility where it belongs, learn from what happened, and still refuse to turn suffering into cosmic punishment.As you move through today, notice when pain becomes a sentence about what you deserve.Then ask:“What if this is something to meet rather than something I’m being punished with?”Life can hurt without Love becoming your enemy.
