Day 108 - You Live Inside What You Give

Sometimes what we give another person becomes the emotional state we have to live inside too.We enter defensive.Speak sharply.Prepare for conflict. And even after the conversation ends, we are still carrying the same state.Lesson 108 says:“To give and to receive are one in truth.”This does not mean everyone will return what we offer. It means the quality we practise towards another person is also shaping us while we practise it.Peace does not always have to arrive from the other side first. As you move through today, ask:“What am I waiting to receive that I could begin practising now?” This is a public episode. Day 107 - When a Belief Starts Feeling Like Fact

Some beliefs have been with us for so long that we stop experiencing them as beliefs. They just feel true.“I always fail.”“I’m difficult.”“I have to be useful to matter.”Lesson 107 says:“Truth will correct all errors in my mind.”Perhaps we do not always need to fight the old thought.Sometimes we need to notice what it has been leaving out.A belief can survive for years because we keep noticing the evidence that supports it.Then one day, something does not fit.Someone stays. You succeed. You are cared for without earning it.The old pattern may still appear, but it becomes a little harder to believe completely. As you move through today, ask:“What am I believing is true here?”Then:“What truth might I be leaving out?”Sometimes truth changes us simply by making an old belief harder to believe. Day 106 - Stop Forcing the Answer

Sometimes more thinking does not create more clarity. We analyse.Ask for advice.Replay the options.Try to predict every outcome. And eventually we are no longer discovering anything new. We are just hearing the same anxious thoughts louder.Lesson 106 says:“Let me be still and listen to the truth.”Stillness does not require an empty mind.Perhaps it simply means we stop treating every thought as an instruction. And sometimes the clearest answer available is:“I need more information.”“This boundary matters.”Or even:“I don’t know yet.”As you move through today, ask:“What becomes clearer if I don’t force an answer right now?”Sometimes clarity arrives because we finally stop interrupting it. Day 105 - When Giving Becomes a Bargain

We can give something sincerely and still start keeping score almost immediately.Did they appreciate it?Did they notice?Did I get something back?Lesson 105 asks us to notice when giving quietly becomes a bargain.“God’s peace and joy are mine.”Feedback can still matter.Metrics can still teach us something.Reciprocity matters in healthy relationships. But the response does not always have to decide whether the gift had value.Perhaps giving becomes lighter when what was genuinely ours to offer can be complete before the return arrives. As you move through today, ask:“Where am I still waiting for proof that my giving mattered?” This is a public episode. Day 104 - What Do You Really Want Through It?

Sometimes the thing we want is only the means.More money may represent freedom.A home may represent safety.A relationship may represent belonging.A beautiful car may represent ease, movement or shared experiences.Lesson 104 says:“I seek but what belongs to me in truth.”Perhaps the deeper question is not only:“What do I want?”But:“What do I believe I will finally feel when I get it?”The external goal can still matter. We can still build, work, earn, choose and create. But perhaps some of the state we are postponing until the finish line is already available in smaller ways now.As you move through today, ask:“What do I believe this goal will give me?”Then:“Where is even a small part of that state available now?” This is a public episode. 6. 116

Day 103 - When Pain Feels Like Punishment

Sometimes pain is difficult enough. Then the mind adds a verdict:“Maybe this is karma.”“Maybe I’m paying for something.”“Maybe I deserve this.”Lesson 103 says:“God, being Love, is also happiness.”Perhaps difficulty does not automatically mean Love has withdrawn.Sometimes life is simply difficult. We can take responsibility where it belongs, learn from what happened, and still refuse to turn suffering into cosmic punishment. As you move through today, notice when pain becomes a sentence about what you deserve. Then ask:“What if this is something to meet rather than something I’m being punished with?”Life can hurt without Love becoming your enemy. This is a public episode. If you would like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit farheenn.substack.com

  7. 115

Day 102 - When Suffering Feels Necessary

Sometimes suffering starts to feel responsible. If we are worried, we must care.If we are exhausted, we must be trying hard enough. If something comes easily, perhaps it does not count.Lesson 102 questions that bargain.“I share God’s Will for happiness for me.”Effort may still be needed.Responsibility still matters. But anxiety, exhaustion and self-denial do not have to become proof that the effort is real.Perhaps we can work towards a different life without making this moment the enemy. As you move through today, ask:“What would this action look like if I didn’t need anxiety to drive it?” This is a public episode. If you would like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit farheenn.substack.com

  8. 114

Day 101 - When Happiness Feels Undeserved

Sometimes happiness itself can make us uncomfortable. We are enjoying the moment, and then the past returns:“After everything I’ve done, do I really deserve this?”Lesson 101 says:“God’s Will for me is perfect happiness.”That does not erase responsibility.Mistakes may need repair. They may change how we choose to live. But suffering forever does not necessarily make the repair more complete.Perhaps part of forgiveness is allowing the lesson to remain without continuing the punishment. As you move through today, notice whether happiness brings up guilt. Then ask:“What am I still punishing myself for?” This is a public episode. If you would like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit farheenn.substack.com

  9. 113

Day 100 - What Are You Bringing Into the Room?

A conversation can begin before either person says a word.We bring our expectations. Our tension. Our fear about how the other person will respond. And people meet the version of us those states produce.Lesson 100 says:“My part is essential to God’s plan for salvation.”That does not mean we are responsible for fixing everyone. It means what we contribute matters.Sometimes letting go is relationally powerful because when we stop demanding that the environment become a particular way for us to feel safe, we stop adding that same pressure to everyone around us.As you move through today, ask:“What am I bringing into this room?”And:“What could I release that would give all of us more room?” This is a public episode. If you would like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit farheenn.substack.com

  10. 112

Day 99 - When Wanting Becomes a Demand

Sometimes wanting quietly becomes a rule:“This has to happen for me to be okay.”We can still want the opportunity. The relationship. The healing. The financial stability.Lesson 99 does not ask us to stop caring. It asks us to notice what we have made the outcome responsible for.Forgiveness may simply be releasing the extra meaning:“If this does not happen, I have failed.”Perhaps we can keep the intention without keeping the demand. As you move through today, ask:“What am I being asked to release here?”Sometimes freedom begins before the outcome changes. This is a public episode. If you would like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit farheenn.substack.com

  11. 111

Day 98 - What Is Actually Yours to Do?

We often imagine purpose as something enormous.A calling.A career. One perfect path we are supposed to discover.Lesson 98 offers another possibility:“I will accept my part in God’s plan for salvation.”Perhaps purpose is something we participate in before we completely understand it.Sometimes our part is simply the honest response available in the situation already in front of us.Listen.Speak clearly.Hold the boundary.Take the next responsible step. Then release the outcome we cannot control. As you move through today, ask:“What is actually mine to do here?” This is a public episode. If you would like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit farheenn.substack.com

  12. 110

Day 97 - More Than What Is Changing

We describe ourselves through things that change. Our body. Our work. Our relationships. Our confidence. Our mood. Then one of those things changes, and suddenly we can feel as though we have become less.Lesson 97 says:“I am spirit.”You do not have to make that mystical.Perhaps it simply means that everything changing in your life is part of your experience without being the whole of who you are.As you move through today, notice what temporary thing you are using to define yourself. Then remember:“I am more than what is changing in me today.” This is a public episode. If you would like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit farheenn.substack.com

  13. 109

Day 96 - When Different Parts of You Disagree

Sometimes the difficulty is not that we do not know what we want.It is that several things in us want something at the same time.We want the boundary and the approval. The change and the safety. The honest conversation and the escape from discomfort.Lesson 96 says:“Salvation comes from my one Self.”Different feelings can exist within one whole person. We do not have to make every part agree before choosing how we want to live.As you move through today, ask:“What would the deeper, steadier part of me choose here?”Then give yourself enough quiet to notice what remains true beneath the conflict. This is a public episode. If you would like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit farheenn.substack.com

  14. 108

Day 95 - Correction, Not Condemnation

One old reaction can make us question all the change that came before it.You forget the practice.Fall into an old habit.Respond in a way you regret. Then the mind says:“See? Nothing has changed.”Lesson 95 asks us not to turn one lapse into an identity.“I am one Self, united with my Creator.”Change is rarely perfectly consistent.Sometimes the old response returns. The question is what we do next.Condemn ourselves?Or notice, correct, and return? As you move through today, remember:One setback can show you where more practice is needed without becoming proof that your progress was never real. This is a public episode. If you would like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit farheenn.substack.com

  15. 107

Day 94 - When Experience Becomes Identity

There is a big difference between:“This failed.”and:“I am a failure.”One describes what happened. The other turns what happened into who we believe we are.Lesson 94 — “I am as God created me” — asks us to notice where experience has quietly become identity. Our history can shape how we see ourselves. It can affect confidence, expectations, and behaviour. But what shaped our self-concept does not have to become the source of who we are.As you move through today, notice the sentences that begin:“I am just someone who…”Then ask:Is that who I am—or something life taught me to believe about myself? This is a public episode. If you would like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit farheenn.substack.com

  16. 106

Day 93 - Your Mistake Is Not Your Identity

Sometimes regret quietly becomes identity.“I did something wrong” becomes:“There is something wrong with me.”Lesson 93 asks us to separate behaviour from being.A mistake may still need repair. An apology may still matter.Living differently may be part of what we owe the experience. But responsibility does not require us to make one moment the final verdict on who we are.“Light and joy and peace abide in me.”Today, consider:Is there something I still need to repair—or am I continuing to punish myself after the lesson has already been learned?Practice for TodayBring to mind something you still judge yourself for.Repeat:“Light and joy and peace abide in me.My sinlessness is guaranteed by God.”Or:“My deepest Self has not been destroyed by my mistakes. What Love created in me is still here.”Then ask one practical question:“Is there any repair that is still mine to make?”If there is, let responsibility guide you.If there is not, notice whether shame is asking you to keep punishing yourself anyway. This is a public episode. If you would like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit farheenn.substack.com

  17. 105

Day 92 - Fear Does Not See the Whole Person

Fear can make someone’s difficulty become the whole way we see them. They are struggling, and soon we see only helplessness. We worry.Take over.Imagine the worst.Lesson 92 asks whether strength might allow a fuller perception. The difficulty remains real. But so does the person within it.Their dignity.Their agency.Their capacity.Perhaps clear seeing is not looking away from what is difficult.Perhaps it is learning to see what fear left out.Practice for TodayWhen fear for yourself or someone else begins narrowing perception, repeat:“Miracles are seen in light, and light and strength are one.”Then remind yourself:“I am more than this frightened reaction. There is strength available here that fear cannot show me.”Ask one question:“What might I be unable to see because I am afraid?”Do not use the question to deny what is happening.Use it to make room for what fear may have screened out. This is a public episode. If you would like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit farheenn.substack.com

  18. 104

Day 91 - What If You Cannot See It Yet?

A difficult state can quietly become an identity.“I feel weak” becomes:“I am weak.”“I feel overwhelmed” becomes:“I cannot cope.”Lesson 91 asks whether that identity is now deciding what we are able to see.“Miracles are seen in light.”The body and its limitations deserve care. They simply do not have to become the whole definition of who we are.Perhaps we do not need to see the whole way through today.Perhaps we only need to become willing that there may be something fear cannot currently see.Practice for TodayWhen weakness, exhaustion, or fear begins becoming your whole identity, repeat:“Miracles are seen in light.”Then ask:“But I am not only a body. What am I?”Or:“I am not only weak.I am not only afraid.I am not only what this moment makes me feel.”Then pause.Do not force yourself to find a solution.Simply become willing for there to be something you cannot yet see. This is a public episode. If you would like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit farheenn.substack.com

  19. 103

Day 90 - The Problem Beneath the Problem

A practical difficulty appears.Soon, it may begin telling us something larger:“I am alone in this.”Lesson 90 brings together two ideas:“Let me recognize the problem so it can be solved.”“Let me recognize my problems have been solved.”Today’s practice is Solution Recognition.Ask:“What happens to this problem when I stop treating it as proof that I am alone?”The situation may still need a response.Peace and guidance do not have to wait until it is resolved. This is a public episode. If you would like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit farheenn.substack.com

  20. 102

Day 89 - Is This the Whole Person?

Someone lets us down.Soon, their behaviour may become a conclusion about the whole person:“They are unreliable.”Lesson 89 brings together two ideas:“I am entitled to miracles.”“Let miracles replace all grievances.”Today’s practice is The Whole-Person Return.Ask:“Can I address what happened without reducing this person to it?”The behaviour may still need to be discussed. The person can remain more than the grievance you hold about them. This is a public episode. If you would like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit farheenn.substack.com

  21. 101

Day 88 - Who Made This a Rule?

You forget something important. The mind may immediately add a rule:“A reliable person would never do this.”The event has become a verdict.Lesson 88 brings together two ideas:“The light has come.”“I am under no laws but God’s.”Today’s practice is The False Law Check.Ask:“What rule am I treating as though it has the power to define me?”Address what happened.Question the rule that claims it defines who you are. This is a public episode. If you would like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit farheenn.substack.com

  22. 100

Day 87 - Fear Has Filled In the Rest

Someone sends:“Can we talk later?”There is no explanation, but the mind may create the entire conversation before it happens.Lesson 87 brings together two ideas:“I will there be light.”“There is no will but God’s.”Today’s practice is The Unknown Reset.Ask:“What do I actually know before fear fills in the rest?”You do not need to invent a positive outcome.Return to what is known and let the missing information arrive when it arrives. This is a public episode. If you would like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit farheenn.substack.com

  23. 99

Day 86 - What Is This Grievance Supposed to Fix?

Sometimes a grievance feels useful. We may believe it will protect us or prove that what happened mattered.Yet the event remains unresolved while we continue carrying it inside us.Lesson 86 brings together two ideas:“Only God’s plan for salvation will work.”“Holding grievances is an attack on God’s plan for salvation.”Today’s practice is The Strategy Check.Ask:“What am I expecting this grievance to do for me?”Notice what it promises. Then look at what it is actually producing. This is a public episode. If you would like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit farheenn.substack.com

  24. 98

Day 85 - Do They Have to Change First?

Sometimes our peace begins waiting for someone else.We tell ourselves we can move forward when they apologise, change or finally understand what they did.Lesson 85 brings together two ideas:“My grievances hide the light of the world in me.”“My salvation comes from me.”Today’s practice is The Power Return.Ask:“What am I waiting for them to do before I let myself move towards peace?”What you hoped to receive may still matter. The question helps you notice whether your entire inner state has been left waiting for it. This is a public episode. If you would like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit farheenn.substack.com

  25. 97

Day 84 - Has This Hurt Become Your Identity?

Something painful happens.Later, the experience may become a statement about us:“I am always the one people leave out.”The grievance has entered our self-concept.Lesson 84 brings together two ideas:“Love created me like itself.”“Love holds no grievances.”Today’s practice is The Identity Return.Ask:“What am I allowing this grievance to tell me about who I am?”What happened may still need to be addressed. The identity created around it deserves to be questioned. This is a public episode. If you would like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit farheenn.substack.com

  26. 96

Day 83 - When Every Choice Feels Wrong

Sometimes a decision feels difficult because we have given it several jobs.We want to be honest, but we also want to prevent disappointment or protect how someone sees us.Lesson 83 brings together two ideas:“My only function is the one God gave me.”“My happiness and my function are one.”Today’s practice is The Alignment Return.Ask:“What response would serve peace without asking me to betray what is true?”The answer may be yes. It may be no.Notice which response leaves you less divided inside. This is a public episode. If you would like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit farheenn.substack.com

  27. 95

Day 82 - Do Not Pass the Hurt Forward

Sometimes a reply begins as an attempt to address what happened. Then hurt takes over, and part of us wants the other person to feel what we felt.Lesson 82 brings together two ideas:“The light of the world brings peace to every mind through my forgiveness.”“Let me not forget my function.”Today’s practice is The Peace Check. Before responding, ask:“How can I respond without passing this hurt forward?”You may still need to be clear or set a boundary.Forgiveness helps you address what happened without creating another injury. This is a public episode. If you would like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit farheenn.substack.com

  28. 94

Day 81 - Old Hurt Changes What You See

An old hurt can enter a new encounter before we do.Nothing has happened yet, but we are already listening through what happened last time.Lesson 81 brings together two ideas:“I am the light of the world.”“Forgiveness is my function as the light of the world.”Today’s practice is The Clearer Look.Ask:“What might I see here if I loosened my old conclusion for one moment?”You may still need a conversation or boundary. The pause simply gives you a chance to see what is present now. This is a public episode. If you would like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit farheenn.substack.com

  29. 93

Day 80 - Stop Living in Problem Mode

Sometimes the problem gets resolved, but the mind does not become peaceful. It simply finds the next problem.Lesson 80 asks us to notice what keeps repeating underneath the changing circumstances.Perhaps the practical problem still needs solving. But the old conclusion—“I am alone in this.”“I am not safe.”—does not have to be recreated every time life becomes difficult.Today, ask:What part of this needs action? What part is the old fear returning?Practice for TodayWhen something starts pulling you into problem mode, repeat:“Let me recognize this problem has been solved.”Then ask:“What part of this needs practical action?”And:“What part is the old belief that I am alone in it?”Do what needs doing. Then notice whether you can allow even a little peace before everything is resolved. This is a public episode. If you would like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit farheenn.substack.com

  30. 92

Day 79 - What Is the Real Problem?

Sometimes we solve one problem and almost immediately find another one to worry about.Lesson 79 asks whether the outer problem is always the whole problem.Money may activate “I am unsafe.”A relationship may activate “I am alone.”A mistake may activate “I am not enough.”The practical situation still needs its practical response. But perhaps there is also a deeper belief asking to be seen.Today, ask:What is happening—and what have I made it mean?Practice for TodayWhen a problem feels overwhelming, pause and repeat:“Let me recognize this problem so it can be solved.”Then separate the situation from the meaning:“What is actually happening?”“What meaning have I added?”“What deeper fear is active here?”Do not rush towards an answer.Become willing to discover that what first looked like the whole problem may only be its outer form. This is a public episode. If you would like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit farheenn.substack.com

  31. 91

Day 78 - See Beyond the Grievance

After enough irritation, we can stop meeting the person and start meeting our conclusion about them.Every mistake becomes proof.Every difficult moment confirms the old story.Lesson 78 asks for something smaller than forced forgiveness:a willingness to see beyond the grievance.“Let miracles replace all grievances.”The miracle is not that the other person suddenly changes. It may begin with one moment in which our judgement is no longer the only thing we can see.Practice for TodayChoose one person you find difficult.Acknowledge honestly what has been painful or frustrating. Then become quiet and say:“Help me see this person beyond my grievance.Let me see what fear has hidden from me.”During the day, return to:“Let miracles replace all grievances.”Do not force warmth or forgiveness.Notice whether there is simply:less certainty, less tension,or one moment in which you can see more than the grievance. This is a public episode. If you would like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit farheenn.substack.com

  32. 90

Day 77 - Peace Is Not a Reward

Peace can start to feel like something we must earn. After we have healed enough.Stopped reacting.Behaved better. Finally become the person we think we should be.Lesson 77 says:“I am entitled to miracles.”A miracle is not a reward for perfection. It is the availability of another way of seeing—one that does not ask fear or self-condemnation to explain the whole moment.Today’s question:What might become visible if fear were not the only voice explaining this?Practice for TodayRepeat slowly:“I am entitled to miracles.”When you feel disturbed, say:“I will not trade miracles for grievances.”Then ask:“What might become visible if fear were not the only voice explaining this?”Do not force an answer.Let another perception become possible.Remember:Peace is not a reward for becoming perfect. This is a public episode. If you would like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit farheenn.substack.com

  33. 89

Day 76 - Fear Wrote These Rules

Many of us live by rules we never consciously chose.I must have enough.I must do everything correctly.I must prevent every possible problem.Only then can I relax.Lesson 76 asks whether fear wrote those laws.“I am under no laws but God’s.”This does not mean rejecting medicine, money, routines, or responsible action. It means practical support can help us without becoming the condition that decides whether peace is allowed.Today’s question:What private rule have I mistaken for the law of life?Practice for TodayComplete one sentence:“I must have ______ before I can feel safe.”Or:“I must do ______ perfectly, or something bad will happen.”Notice the rule without judging yourself. Then repeat:“I am under no laws but God’s.”Or:“I am not ultimately governed by the rules fear has made.”Take the practical action that is needed. Then ask:“Am I asking complete certainty to give me permission for peace?” This is a public episode. If you would like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit farheenn.substack.com

  34. 88

Day 75 - Let Today Be New

The present can barely begin before memory enters it.We hear an old tone.Expect the same rejection.Prepare for the argument before anything has happened.Lesson 75 offers another direction:“The light has come.”This does not mean we must feel completely healed. It means the past does not have to decide in advance what today will reveal.Today’s practice is about allowing the present to be more than a repetition of yesterday.Practice for TodayRepeat slowly:“The light has come.I have forgiven the world.”Then wait without deciding what a new way of seeing must look like. When someone activates an old grievance, say silently:“The light has come.I have forgiven you.”Use the words as a direction for the mind. You are not testing whether you already feel complete forgiveness. You are becoming willing for the present to reveal more than the past expects. This is a public episode. If you would like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit farheenn.substack.com

  35. 87

Day 74 - Why You Feel Torn

You may want peace and vindication.Honesty and avoidance.Understanding and control. When several protective goals operate at once, the mind feels divided.Lesson 74 asks us to look beneath them:“There is no will but God’s.”This does not remove choice. It reminds us that not every fearful demand represents what we most deeply want.Today’s practice is to let the competing voices settle before deciding what comes next.Practice for TodayRepeat slowly:“There is no will but God’s.I cannot be in conflict.”Bring one situation to mind and say:“My conflict about ______ cannot express my deepest will.”Or:“My deepest will is not against Love.Beneath this conflict, I still want peace.”Do not force an immediate answer.Let the competing demands settle.Notice whether one honest next step becomes clearer. This is a public episode. If you would like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit farheenn.substack.com

  36. 86

Day 73 - Peace or Vindication?

We can say we want peace while still wanting the other person to admit that we were right. The grievance then follows us into the next room, the next errand, and the next interaction. It begins deciding what we notice. What we expect. How we hear another person’s tone.Lesson 73 asks which desire we want to follow:the wish to preserve the grievance, or the willingness to see again.Today’s question:What do I want most here—vindication or freedom?Practice for TodayRepeat slowly:“I will there be light.Let me behold the light that reflects God’s Will and mine.”Or:“I choose to see from Love and truth.Let the deeper wisdom in me show me another way.”When a grievance begins shaping what you see, pause and ask:“What do I want most here—vindication or freedom?”You do not need to force a new interpretation.Become willing for the grievance not to be the only one. This is a public episode. If you would like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit farheenn.substack.com

  37. 85

Day 72 - More Than What They Did

One action can take over the whole picture.“They broke my trust” becomes:“They are betrayal.”And what happened to us begins becoming who we believe we are.Lesson 72 asks us to notice when behaviour has become identity. This does not remove accountability or boundaries. It makes room to respond to what happened without keeping both people permanently fixed inside the injury.Today’s question:What would Love have me understand here?Practice for TodayBring one person to mind and repeat:“Holding this grievance resists the healing I want.Let me accept another way.”Then ask quietly:“What would Love have me understand here?”Wait without forcing an answer. What comes may be:a different perception,a clearer boundary,or less urgency to attack. You are not dismissing the behaviour. You are becoming willing to see more than the identity the grievance created. This is a public episode. If you would like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit farheenn.substack.com

  38. 84

Day 71 - When Peace Becomes Conditional

“I’ll be okay when they finally change.”That sentence can place our peace behind a condition we cannot control.Lesson 71 calls this the ego’s plan for salvation: change the person, secure the outcome, fix the circumstances—and then peace can begin. The outer situation may still need attention. There may be a conversation, a boundary, or a practical decision to make. But no one else can perform the inner work of forgiveness and clear seeing for us.Today’s question:Where have I made peace conditional?Practice for TodayRepeat slowly:“Only God’s plan for salvation will work.”When a grievance appears, say:“Holding grievances is the opposite of God’s plan for salvation.Only His plan will work.”Then become quiet and ask:“What would You have me do?”“Where would You have me go?”“What would You have me say, and to whom?”Carry one question with you today:“Where have I made peace conditional?” This is a public episode. If you would like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit farheenn.substack.com

  39. 83

Day 70 - Your Peace Is Not in Their Hands

Peace can begin to feel one conversation away.If they apologise. If they understand. If they finally give us the answer we have been waiting for.Lesson 70 asks whether we have placed the key to our inner freedom in someone else’s hands.“My salvation comes from me.”Another person’s accountability may still matter. The practical situation may still need to change. But no one else can perform the inner act of release for us.Today’s question:Where have I been waiting for something outside me to unlock my peace?Practice for TodayRepeat slowly:“My salvation comes from me.It cannot come from anywhere else.”Then ask:“Where have I been waiting for someone or something outside me to give me peace?”Take the practical action that is yours to take.Ask for help.Clarify what happened.Set the boundary.Make the decision. Then remind yourself:“The outcome does not own the whole path to my freedom.” This is a public episode. Day 69 - What Resentment Hides

A difficult conversation can end while your attention remains trapped inside it.Later, someone you love is speaking to you.Something good may even be happening. But part of you is still replaying the hurt.Lesson 69 reminds us that the light has not disappeared. The grievance has occupied the attention through which we might recognise it.Forgiveness stops the past from becoming the atmosphere of every room that follows.Today’s question:What am I unable to receive in the present while I remain inside this grievance?Practice for TodayClose your eyes and imagine the grievance as a cloud covering the light in your mind.Do not fight it.Move gently through it.Repeat:“My grievances hide the light of the world in me.I cannot see what I have hidden.Yet I want to let it be revealed to me.”When a specific grievance arises, say:“If I hold this grievance, the light of the world will be hidden from me.”Then ask:“What is happening in front of me that I cannot fully receive while I remain inside this grievance?” This is a public episode. Day 68 - Letting Go Is Not Betrayal

A grievance can feel protective. If I let it go, does that mean the harm did not matter?Does it mean they were right?Does it mean I am betraying myself?Lesson 68 asks whether resentment is still protecting the truth—or whether it has started shaping who we believe we are.“Love holds no grievances.”Forgiveness can include distance, accountability, and firm boundaries. What it releases is the need to keep the wound active in order to honour ourselves.Today’s question:Who do I become when I keep this grievance alive?Practice for TodayBring one person to mind and say:“I would see you as my friend, that I may remember you are part of meand come to know myself.”If that feels too difficult, begin with:“Love holds no grievances.Let me not betray my Self.”Then ask:“Who do I become when I keep this grievance alive?”You do not need to remove a boundary or resume contact.Begin by questioning whether the grievance must remain part of your identity. Day 67 - Feedback Is Not Identity

One piece of feedback can become a judgement about your whole identity.Something you did becomes:“This is who I am.”Lesson 67 asks us to separate learning from self-condemnation.“Love created me like itself.”We can listen.Apologise.Change our behaviour.Grow.But experience does not have the authority to recreate what only Love could create.Today’s practice is about learning from what happened without turning it into a permanent definition of yourself.Practice for TodayRepeat slowly:“Love created me like itself.”Then allow related thoughts to arise:“Kindness created me kind.”“Peace created me peaceful.”“Love created me loving.”When criticism or an old mistake starts defining you, ask:“What can I learn from this?”“What identity am I creating around it?”Learn what is yours to learn. Then return to:“Love created me like itself.” This is a public episode. Day 66 - What Success Cannot Give

You reach the goal.Feel relief for a moment. Then the mind asks:What comes next?Achievement can bring satisfaction, opportunity, and growth. But it cannot permanently answer whether we are enough.Lesson 66 asks us to stop postponing happiness until the next result.“My happiness and my function are one.”Today’s question is:What am I expecting achievement to give me that it cannot permanently provide?Practice for TodayRepeat slowly:“God gives me only happiness. He has given my function to me.Therefore, my function must be happiness.”During the day, return to:“My happiness and my function are one, because God has given me both.”Then ask:“What purpose am I serving right now?”“Am I trying to prove, control, defend, or forgive?”Notice where you have been postponing happiness until the next result. Day 65 - Your Goals Do Not Define You

A task can quietly begin carrying more than the work itself. It may start carrying your worth.Your competence.Your need for approval.Your belief that peace can begin only when everything is finished.Lesson 65 does not ask us to abandon practical goals. It asks us to stop making them responsible for telling us who we are.Today’s question is:What am I asking this task to prove about me?Practice for TodaySit quietly and notice the thoughts that interfere with today’s idea. For each one, say:“This thought reflects a goal that is preventing me from accepting my only function.”Then allow the mind to settle and say:“On this clean slate, let my true function be written for me.”During the day, return to:“My only function is the one God gave me.I want no other, and I have no other.”Before beginning a task, ask:“What am I asking this task to prove about me?” This is a public episode. Day 64 - Remember Before You React

One short reply can change the direction of an entire day.The body tightens. The mind decides what the tone means. And fear begins writing the response.Lesson 64 asks us to remember our function before we react.Forgiveness may still include a question, a boundary, or an honest conversation. It also gives us enough distance to learn from what happened and decide what we want to do differently moving forward. The pain does not have to keep choosing for us.Practice for TodayRepeat slowly:“Let me not forget my function.Let me not try to substitute mine for God’s.Let me forgive and be happy.”When something triggers you, ask:“What is the purpose of my response here?”“Am I trying to punish, prove, defend, or bring clarity?”When you feel calmer, also ask:“What has this experience shown me?”“What would I like to do differently moving forward?”Forgiveness may still include a boundary. It simply means fear does not choose the tone. Day 63 - Stop Passing the Hurt Forward

An argument can end while the tension keeps travelling.Into the next room. The next conversation.Sometimes, the next relationship. The person in front of us may not have caused the hurt. But they can still meet the defence created by someone who did.Lesson 63 shows us that forgiveness changes more than our relationship with the past.It changes the atmosphere we bring into the present.Practice for TodayRepeat slowly:“The light of the world brings peace to every mind through my forgiveness.”Then ask:“Where else has this hurt been travelling with me?”“Who has been meeting my defence without knowing where it began?”You do not have to force complete forgiveness.Begin by becoming unwilling to pass the wound forward. Before reacting, pause and ask:“Am I responding to this person—or to someone from the past?” This is a public episode. Day 62 - Forgiveness Releases You

The person may no longer be in your life. But the conversation can continue inside you.You replay what happened. What they said. What you should have said. And the body responds as though the past is still present.Lesson 62 reminds us that forgiveness is also for the person doing the forgiving. It does not erase harm or remove boundaries. It releases us from allowing one wound to decide who they are—and who we must remain.Practice for TodayRepeat slowly:“Forgiveness is my function as the light of the world.I would fulfil my function that I may be happy.”Bring one painful event to mind and ask:“What does this seem to prove about them?”“What does this seem to prove about me?”You do not have to force forgiveness.Begin with the willingness not to let the wound organise your whole identity. Day 61 - Hiding Is Not Humility

You may have something useful to say and still remain silent.Something meaningful to create and still keep it hidden.A way to help and still wonder:Who am I to do this?We often call that humility.Lesson 61 asks us to look again.“I am the light of the world.”The light is not status or performance. It is what becomes available to others when truth, care, clarity, and contribution are no longer being withheld.Practice for TodayRepeat slowly:“I am the light of the world. That is my only function. That is why I am here.”When you notice yourself shrinking, ask:“What am I withholding because I am afraid of being seen?”It may be:a sentence,a boundary,a piece of work,an act of care,or the willingness to receive appreciation.Let one small expression of light move through you today. Day 60 - Put Down the Verdict

Self-condemnation can look like responsibility.Yet replaying what happened does not always help us repair it.The same can happen when we hold someone else inside a permanent verdict.Practice for TodayThe Forgiveness TurnWhen you notice yourself blaming or condemning yourself or someone else, pause and ask:“What needs care or action here, once I put down the verdict?”You do not need to force forgiveness.Listen for the next honest step. Day 59 - Not Finding Your Way Alone

Uncertainty can make us believe we need to think harder until we produce the perfect answer. After a while, the mind becomes so crowded that we can no longer tell the difference between guidance and fear.Practice for TodayThe Guidance ReturnWhen you find yourself circling the same question, pause and ask:“What is the next honest step I can see when I remember I am not alone?”Do not force the entire answer.Let the next clear step be enough.
