Sometimes what we give another person becomes the emotional state we have to live inside too.We enter defensive.Speak sharply.Prepare for conflict.And even after the conversation ends, we are still carrying the same state.Lesson 108 says:“To give and to receive are one in truth.”This does not mean everyone will return what we offer.It means the quality we practise towards another person is also shaping us while we practise it.Peace does not always have to arrive from the other side first.As you move through today, ask:“What am I waiting to receive that I could begin practising now?” This is a public episode.
