The people ignored His warnings, rejected His truth, and listened to voices that offered comfort without calling them to repentance.Eventually, their choices left deep and lasting scars.God’s judgment is real, but His warnings are also evidence of His mercy. He exposes our sin not simply to condemn us, but to call us back before greater destruction comes.We should never confuse God’s patience with His approval.Perhaps the Lord has been confronting an area of bitterness, pride, compromise, dishonesty, or delayed obedience in your life. Do not ignore His conviction. Bring it into the light, confess it, and turn back to Him.The cross reminds us both of the seriousness of sin and the greatness of God’s love. Jesus carried the judgment we deserved so that everyone who trusts in Him can receive forgiveness, cleansing, and restoration.Sin is heavy. Judgment is sobering.
