Day 242: Ezekiel 13-15

Welcome back to Day 242 of our Walk Through History: Bible Edition. Today we are reading Ezekiel chapters 13 through 15. As Ezekiel continues his ministry to the exiles in Babylon, God confronts false prophets who are telling people exactly what they want to hear instead of what they need to hear. While Jerusalem is racing toward judgment, these leaders are promising peace, safety, and prosperity. Through vivid illustrations, God exposes their deception and reminds His people that a message is not true simply because it sounds encouraging. In today's reading, we will see the danger of building our lives on lies, the importance of genuine repentance, and God's desire for truth among His people. Ezekiel 15 concludes with a powerful picture of a vine that has become useless because it is no longer producing fruit, challenging us to consider whether our lives are fulfilling the purpose for which God created us.
