Even though I've read the Bible cover to cover more than once, Nahum is one of those books that still makes me pause and think, "Wait... is Nahum actually a book of the Bible, or did somebody sneak that in there?" LOL. Every time I come across it, I feel the need to do a quick mental roll call of the Minor Prophets just to make sure it's really there. But as easy as Nahum is to overlook, it's actually a powerful book. Beneath its short three chapters is a message about God's justice, His patience, and the certainty that evil will not have the final word. It's a reminder that while God is slow to anger, He is also a God who makes all things right in His perfect timing. So let's give Nahum the attention it deserves today and see what this often-forgotten prophet has to say. Let's get started. 📖🎙️

Everything builds toward Isaiah 53, one of the most remarkable prophecies in the Bible. Here we encounter the Suffering Servant who bears our griefs, carries our sorrows, and is wounded for our transgressions. Written centuries before Christ, these words paint a breathtaking picture of God's plan of redemption. As you listen today, pay attention to the contrast between human pride and God's salvation, between idols that cannot save and the Servant who willingly gives Himself for others.
