Day 248: Ezekiel 28-30

Welcome back to Day 248 of our Walk Through History: Bible Edition. Today we continue our journey through the book of Ezekiel as we read chapters 28 through 30. In these chapters, God speaks powerful words of judgment against the proud rulers and nations surrounding Israel. We will see the downfall of the king of Tyre, whose pride led him to believe he was untouchable, only to be reminded that no human can stand above God. We will also read prophecies against Sidon and Egypt, where earthly power, wealth, and military strength prove unable to withstand the Lord's sovereign hand. While these chapters contain warnings of judgment, they also serve as an important reminder for us today. Pride, self-reliance, and trust in worldly power can never replace dependence on God. Throughout history, kingdoms have risen and fallen, but the Lord remains faithful and in control. As you listen today, pay attention to the contrast between human pride and God's authority. Notice how every nation, ruler, and empire is ultimately accountable to Him. No matter how powerful someone may appear, God alone reigns forever.
