These chapters mark a shift from judgment to hope. In chapter 34, God confronts the shepherds of Israel, the leaders who failed to care for His people. He promises that He Himself will seek out His scattered sheep, gather them, protect them, and lead them to good pasture. Through this promise, we catch a glimpse of the Great Shepherd who truly cares for His flock. Chapter 35 contains a judgment against Edom, a nation that rejoiced over Israel's suffering. God reminds us that He sees every act of pride, cruelty, and opportunism, and that justice ultimately belongs to Him. Then in chapter 36, one of the most encouraging chapters in Ezekiel, God promises restoration for His people. The land will be renewed, the people will be gathered back, and most importantly, God promises to give them a new heart and a new spirit. He will remove their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh, transforming them from the inside out. As you listen today, reflect on God's heart for His people. He is not only a God of justice but also a God of restoration. No matter how broken the situation may seem, God specializes in renewal, redemption, and making all things new. Thank you for joining us for Day 250. Grab your Bible, settle in, and let's continue walking through history together as we read Ezekiel 34 through 36.
