The Stats are staggering. 74% of teachers have considered leaving the profession explicitly because of burnout and chronic work stress.Up to 86% of teachers state their job has adversely impacted their mental health, with low wellbeing scores significantly below the general population average. Approximately 76% to 78% of all education staff report feeling currently stressed at work, a figure that rises to over 80% for senior school leaders.And 32% of teachers will leave before the end of their fifth year.
