Day 14 of 100 - you CAN teach an old dog new tricks
Your brain has a huge capacity to change, and I wanted to share with you today how my client of 78 is learning to understand the biology of how his body and mind work together, and understanding himself more deeply. It’s never too late and that doesn’t just apply to individuals, it can apply to the collective too.I’d love to know your thoughts, please do comment below and I’ll respond. If you’re watching before 17th June you can join me for a live session at 4pm to dive into why this isn’t just a nice to have but it’s essential of that health and capacity of your staff (and you) and how you can change it.If you’re in education, you can contact me on [email protected] leadership and culture enquiries: [email protected]

Day 13 of 100 - before you say a word, your nervous system is speaking volumes…
Today I’m talking about one of the most profound reframes of being Body Led ™️ that you are not simply someone delivering an intervention, or leading a lesson, or leading a school… you are a biological signal and that signal is either creating the conditions for regulation or quietly undermining them. This episode gets to the heart of what it means to be a nervous system leader. If you are listening before 17th June you can join us live at 4pm online for a session that starts here and goes deeper. Link to register is here >>> https://regulated.org.uk/regulated-leader-registration-pageIf you can’t make it live, still register and I’ll send you the recoding. Please share with colleagues, the more the merrier.Let’s shift the collective Nervous System of Education in the UK ❤️If you are watching after 17th June you’ll be able to get instant access.

Day 12 of 100 - Who are you being day to day
This week we have been stepping up the actions, and for the first time it feels like things are really beginning to move forward. Not because we have lots of founder members of RegulatED (yet) but because the wheels that make this happen are being set in motion! If you’re listening to this before 17th June 2026 you have the chance to join me live for an online event (free) where I’ll take you through why your wellbeing initiates, resources and policies won’t work until you do this … (I know I know, it’s all a bit click baity but I promise it will be worth it!)You’ll understand what the gaps are, what actually will bridge the gap and how to start making changes that give you the most juice for your squeeze. If you are listening after 17th June you’ll be able to instantly access it for free. Links will go out tomorrow, if you’d like to talk to me about how to develop this already and benefit from founder rates and getting a head start, then please do drop me an email on [email protected] corporate enquiries, please email [email protected]

Day 11 of 100 - What’s really underneath burnout in your school…
And why your well-being policies don’t work until you do this…I’m not even going to apologise for the click bait because you need to hear this.I’m serious. Most schools are trying to solve burnout at the wrong level. Wellbeing policies, staff perks, resilience training, none of it gets near the actual mechanism driving exhaustion in your staff. In this episode we get into the neuroscience of why your most dedicated teachers are often your most dysregulated, why telling people to think differently doesn’t work once the body has already mobilised, and what’s actually happening in the nervous system underneath the behaviour you’re seeing in your school. This isn’t another conversation about self-care. It’s about understanding the system that’s running your staff and what it actually takes to change it.To be a founder member of the RegulatED movement and book a session with me for you, your leadership team or your whole school, email me on [email protected] book a session for corporate, email [email protected]

Day 10 of 100 - sauna and vitamin sea
You join me for a tired and happy episode of looking at why heat and cold are such beautiful ways to get out of your head and in to your body.Tomorrow I’m going into how this works in more detail, but for today you have a sleepy stream of consciousness from today’s sauna hosting. And why this is relevant to you in your leadership. As always, education leaders contact [email protected] to talk about how you can get involved as founder members. For corporate, email [email protected], sleep tight!Lisa x

Day 9 of 100 - Connection connection connection
Connection is the theme of today, teaching is statistically the loneliest profession, and a key thread running through everything RegulatED is here to do is community and connection. Our nervous systems regulate each other, provide a basic human need of belonging. And if you’re leading a school, college or University, it can be even harder being the one who is ultimately responsible for holding everyone else. The RegulatED community will be a live support network and community for every staff member. To find out how you can be a founder member of the movement and book a session for your senior leadership, email [email protected] corporate enquiries, please email [email protected] today’s episode and let me know in the comments how this lands for you Lisa x

Day 8 of 100 - we are all links in an unbreakable chain
I’m recording this late in the day, after a long day of creating systems and governance, more changes to who I am and the labels I choose for myself!Watched Dear England, the Gareth Southgate story and I loved it. I’ve always respected him as a manager, putting the humans at the centre, rewriting stories and creating connection. He spoke about us all bring links in an unbroken chain, stretching backwards and also forwards. This resonates so much for me right now in this process. Everything has always been about the humans, the people, capable of creating such incredible moments and writing new stories.Today’s podcast asks what will your part be in writing the story? If you are a school and want to find out about how putting the human at the centre of wellbeing and culture will look in your school , please email on [email protected] If you are a business and want to see the same for your people, please email [email protected]

Day 7 of 100 - Terrified by the magnitude of the task and the potential - a totally normal response!
Struck yesterday by the enormity of the task and the potential amazingness of what we are creating, I said to my friend yesterday I’m terrified. And that’s ok. Because a)it’s normal and b) I know how to create safety in it and keep moving forward.Knowing what the language is is one thing… knowing what it feels like and being able to teach that to others and use it to create a space where everyone feels safe, like they belong and have the space and opportunities to thrive, grow and be themselves is the elite level of leadership.I’d love to hear your thoughts and as always if you’d like to contact me for low founder rates for education for me to come in so you and your staff can experience what this feels like and how to understand the signals, then please email [email protected] corporate: [email protected] listening and thank you for being here x

Day 6 of 100 - are you a shot glass or a pint glass?
Communication is everything when we are talking about culture and how people feel. Not just the hierarchical structure of the org chart, but every single individual being an equal human being.Today I dive into what that means when I say “resourcing the human” , how we increase capacity for emotions and touch on what I mean by regulating (more on this in subsequent episodes!) Your capacity as a human to have regulated responses, feel all of the feelings and be able to communicate productively without betraying your humanness! Are you a shot glass that bubbles over super quickly or a pint glass? If this speaks to you and you want to be a part of creating a movement that creates so much positive change that government can’t ignore it, please get in touch in [email protected] For business leadership for 1:1 or group training or full organisational consultation that focuses on this and the nervous system capacity of your leaders, please email [email protected] would love to hear your comments below, I’ll reply to them all Lisa x

Day 5 of 100 - Time to breathe
I’ve recorded this on the Sunday at the end of May half term, and instead of my thoughts, feelings, or what I’ve done today I wanted to share something that will help you to create some space, to feel calmer and more in Control and have some more capacity. All you need is 5 minutes and you can choose to give yourself a bit of breathing space.I’d love to hear how this felt ❤️

Day 4/100 - More than robots in a machine churning out results…
I’ll be honest I started off thinking I would talk about one thing and ended up talking about this instead, but it’s turned out to be exactly what I needed to say today. We are creating a systemic culture change that instead of a machine that sees the component parts as robots churning out grades, is a beautiful living ecosystem. When we nurture it everything bears more fruit. If you’d like to know what this looks like for your school/college or university, then please contact me on [email protected] you would love this approach for your business please email [email protected]

Day 3 of 100 - A critical point for Wellbeing in Education
The Stats are staggering. 74% of teachers have considered leaving the profession explicitly because of burnout and chronic work stress.Up to 86% of teachers state their job has adversely impacted their mental health, with low wellbeing scores significantly below the general population average. Approximately 76% to 78% of all education staff report feeling currently stressed at work, a figure that rises to over 80% for senior school leaders. And 32% of teachers will leave before the end of their fifth year. (stats from TeS and DfE)Similar figures apply for TA's. There are more options than ever before to resources for physical, mental and emotional health and yet we are more disconnected than ever. This is why RegulatED exists. The work we do is powerful and transformative. If you are listening to this episode and want to explore how to access this work for yourself and/or for your staff, please contact [email protected] to take advantage of founder rates. For businesses: Please contact [email protected] you would like to also link a philanthropic donation/ongoing support then I would love to discuss this and opportunities for collaboration. Day 2 of 100 - The challenges of navigating change (Part 1)
After 20 years of guiding humans through the process of behaviour change, I know that there are many moving parts of what makes it happen. In today's episode I talk about the element of the humans at the centre and how they feel, and the bare bones of the process of changes (human centred of course!) I talk about the challenges of change that you haven't chosen and how to embed that in meaningful ways (hint: it comes back to your people again) And how I know there will be inspirational leaders listening to this, and amazing people who know that their leadership team want to look at how best they can support them.If this is you, please email [email protected] to discuss what this could look like for your school/nursery/college/universityFor businesses please email [email protected] for Leadership Capacity, Nervous System regulation and capacity for your whole teams to reduce burnout and stress and improve wellbeing, productivity and creativity.

Day 1 0f 100... The angst of having a huge vision
Let the visionary angst commence!Today has been fantastic and although I can't share the contents of what happened, I have no doubt that today will be a pivotal point in the journey towards RegulatED being a nationwide movement. Emotion - weakness or strength?

It's me, hi, I'm the problem, it's me...
How much of what you feel is expected of you actually is? And how much of the role you play in your work and other areas of your life are ones that you have just created, assumed and then got resentful about? In this episode I share a short story of that weird old time in 2020, briefly about being burnt out and how it was no one's fault but my own! Of course it will probably be a glorious mix of it all, but just assuming it's everyone else's fault and not being willing to examine your own means you're not only absolving yourself of all responsibility but that also means you are giving away your power and choice in the situation.

When did you last challenge yourself?
Three years ago, I asked my friend Emma if she wanted to come on my Wild Soul retreat to the Lake District and climb Scafell Pike... I knew this would be a significant challenge for her but that she would absolutely love the experience, be forever changed through it. I'd actually love to do a podcast with her on this, because her perspective will be so beautiful but for now you'll have to make do with me! In this episode we cover who you become through the challenge, how the energy you come at it from makes all the difference, your internal narrative and how challenge is such an integral part to life. Don't forget to hit follow and share with anyone you know who would benefit, and if you are looking to increase the capacity of your teams, get in touch at [email protected] (or [email protected] if you are in education) and we can discuss what this would look like from sessions at your site through to immersing your teams in nature in experiences facilitated by me. Happy listening Lisa x

Going back up river...
After a career spent pulling people out of the metaphorical river, some overwhelmed and drowning in their 30's., 40's and 50's and beyond, helping them to build a raft as they go, I decided it was time to go back up river and give them a better vessel! And what further up river in the system than to create a better culture in schools, nurseries, colleges and universities and make those places where the humans who are creating the space and shaping the future of our children are supported as best as possibly can. In this episode, I talk about why I chose to make RegulatED C.I.C a social enterprise and what difference we are going to make. If you are a Head Teacher, Principle, lead a MAT or work for local authority and would like to have a conversation to find out more, please drop me an email on [email protected] for a no obligation chat about how I can support you, your staff and your school.

Welcome... let's see where this takes us!
It's been a long time coming, with so many people telling me that I should start a podcast on Capacity and leadership (specifically how you lead yourself!) and so here we are. Get ready to be Rebelliously Body Led! A little introduction as we start here on 19th May, 2026, if you're joining from the get go, welcome, and if you're listening to this sometime in the future, then who knows where things have led since today...In a bid to make my socials more, well, social, I am moving my thoughts, wisdom and knowledge onto here, in what I hope feels like a conversation and connection in these times when it's hard even with voice and video to know what is real and what isn't. Comment under the episodes here in Spotify, look out for opportunities to join in with live events and experiences, and for chances to be a part of the community both in Rebel and my new social enterprise RegulatED CIC as we change the systemic culture of Education in the UK.I'll be sharing live with you as we go!Let's see where this takes us!Love Lisa x
