The 2nd book of Thessalonians talks about the coming of The lord Jesus explicitly, Paul starts in 1 Thessalonians and apparently they still had questions that's why He sent the second letter. As Christians we should know that we are all here for a short time. We are here on earth to prepare for eternity. There is going to be a judgement day. One day the earth will end. There is going to be a second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is also called the rapture. Jesus is going to coming back on the earth: For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God.(1 Thessalonians 4:16 ).
