Thanks for joining us for the first week of our new series, Day One. Your first day of something new is often a defining moment. That’s true with day one of a new job, day one at a new school, or day one of marriage—and, as we see in the early church, the same is true with day one of following Jesus. In Acts 2, we read about how 3,000 people believed the good news, were baptized and received the promise of the Holy Spirit on day one.
