Jesus Lights Up Your City | Christmas Light, Episode 3
Why do we hang Christmas lights? It’s a lot of work—risking our lives on ladders, braving the cold, and untying knotted up lights—but that doesn’t stop you. As the days get shorter, it’s something you can do to bring light to the darkness. When one writer described the arrival of Jesus at Christmas, that’s what he said about Jesus: “The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world.” On Sundays in December, you’re invited to join us as we explore how Jesus lights up your life, your relationships, and your whole neighborhood even better than the best Christmas light display.

As followers of Jesus, we’re supposed to be known for how well we love our neighbors, but it’s easier than ever to not even know our neighbors. That’s why, this summer, we want to equip you to pray for, know, serve, and invite the neighbors that God has intentionally placed you near. We want to be a church that’s “for the good of the neighborhood” one neighbor at a time. Kick off the summer with us by joining us on Sundays for this three-week teaching series starting on Sunday, June 22.
