DayTrippers (Season 2 Episode 20-2) Contingency Plan

Jack Nash – John (Prime) Reggie Carlisle – John (Beta) GM- Tod Foley Nash and Reggie take Tom and Lil’ Kim on the return mission to Drir. The jump goes smoothly enough and Nash transfers the completed genetic program into D.A.N. The plan is to run scans every hour and try and draw the mimics to the viadome and make an easy snatch and grab. The scans do indeed draw in the mimics it turns out it won’t be that easy. The team winds up chasing the dog mimic deep into the forest coming very close to a large mass of mimic material. They are able to net on fairly easily but while trying to make good on their escape they are set upon by waves of mimics breaking off from the main mass. Nash is eventually able to secure a head sized mass and the team is able to make it back to the ship.
