Het ging dit keer over ondernemerschap in de techwereld, investeren en AI in De Ondernemer. Artificial Intelligence, afgekort AI, is vandaag de dag bijna niet meer te ontwijken. Veel startende bedrijven groeien dankzij deze technologie als kool. Zo ook het in onze hoofdstad gevestigde Verify. De startup heeft een AI-algoritme ontwikkeld dat een onzichtbare vingerafdruk achterlaat in afbeeldingen en video’s, waardoor hun authenticiteit wordt gegarandeerd en ze overal online kunnen worden getraceerd. De onderneming is niet lang geleden opgericht door Hugo Smits en heeft tien mensen in dienst op het hoofdkantoor. De afgelopen week werd bekendgemaakt dat het AI-bedrijf een investering van 1 miljoen euro heeft ontvangen van serie-ondernemer Niels Bouwman, Bynder-oprichter Chris Hall en het Google for Startups Cloud Program voor AI-startups. Bijzonder: Bouwman is tegelijkertijd aangesteld als CEO van Verify. Niels Bouwman was de hoofdgast van Jonathan van Noord in De Ondernemer en samen hadden ze het over dat ondernemerschap in hart en nieren, het tech-klimaat, investeren in veelbelovende startende ondernemingen en natuurlijk AI. Alles wat jij er als ondernemer van wil weten. De risico’s, maar natuurlijk vooral ook de mogelijkheden. Verder te gast in de uitzending waren Julia Krauwer van ABN AMRO, Dane ten Berge en Job Smits van Blooming Good, Djulan Gémesi en Daniel Verbeek van Sneakerhype én Ellen Oosterkamp van Madame Hagel.
