Dead To Your Past, Alive By His Grace

from Highland Gospel Mission · host Highland Southern Baptist Church

Greetings everyone, and may mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you. We will be in Ephesians 1 and 2 today. Chapter 1 talks about everything that Jesus did for us, which brings us to what we are supposed to do now. In Christ, we are dead to our past. So why do we live like we are still trapped? God loved us so much to send Jesus to cover those transgressions. We have been saved by grace through faith, and it is by faith that we can be free of the sins that hold us back. It doesn't guarantee an easy life, but it will provide the peace that passes all understanding which can only be found in Christ Jesus.“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28 19-20You can reach us at facebook.com/hbchillsboro. Wounded Warriors of the Cross Gary Pastoral and clergy mental health is a mostly ignored area, especially by those who live their lives as pastors in the clergy. The stigma of mental health within those who serve in the shadow of the cross is something that invokes the stigma of fear. Many of those in the clergy will choose to suffer in their despair rather than reaching out for help. Sometimes those suffering choose to wait until it's too late to get the real help that they need. At Wounded Warriors of the Cross our mission is to lift the stigma and the veil of silence that encompasses clergy mental health and assist those who suffer in silence. Wounded Warriors of the Cross is here to shed the light of Christ's love into those dark places.
