Deadline Up: DOJ Defends Epstein File Redactions,  Refuses To Release More Documents

Hours before the July 2nd deadline imposed by a federal judge, the Department of Justice asked the judge for 60 more days OR accept its reasoning why it would not produce unredacted versions of several documents. The reasoning included protecting victims, protecting people from disturbing allegations without context and it even used “the dog ate my homework” excuse.
