Death Anniversaries & Anticipatory Grief

We kick off Season 2 with the anticipation of the 3 year anniversary of my husband's death. December sucks around here. Explaining death anniversaries is so much more complex than simply missing your person a little extra. It's reliving the darkest days in real time. Maybe there is no "cheering up" or "distracting", but just simply getting through them. We know there is no fixing it, but it truly does get easier to carry the weight of this grief with time.
