As the summer initiation season draws to an end many homecoming ceremonies were held across the Eastern Cape over the past weekend. These are known as imigidi which are meant to celebrate the successful transition from boyhood to manhood. Unfortunately, the initiation season wasn't without any tragedies,  as the number of young men who hasve lost their lives has now risen to 20.
