Death's Door (2021): Are Shiny Things Not Enough?

Is it enough to be quietly good? If a game drops no notes and has no flaws, how can you hate it? Perhaps more importantly: you play as a bird, how the eff does Feather hate this one? (One: I promise it's strictly coincidence all the bird games are also the best games. I have no bias here. Also: I disliked fall of porcupine, so nyeh) (Two: I don't even hate this one! This is a perfectly fine game! That's the point!) Anyway, Death's Door is cute and smooth and fun and it even has a tab for shiny things you find and collect and there's cute plants that follow you around and that's good enough. Probably. It's not like you only have a limited amount of time on this earth. What? You didn't make a contract with the Lord of Doors? Well. That changes things then.
