Debbi Mack: After a suffering a stroke in a bookstore bathroom, this writer decided life was too short to wait for your dreams
from AGELESS: Opening Doors With Amanda Lamb · host Amanda Lamb
When Debbi Mack was 48, she suffered a stroke in a bathroom stall at a bookstore. She survived, but immediately thought, what am I waiting for? Debbi realized life was too short to be standing at the copy machine in her office making copies of legal documents when she could be writing. Debbi is a retired attorney turned novelist and screenwriter. She was among the first wave of self-published authors to make the New York Times bestseller list in 2011. Debbi decided to start her own imprint and now has two mystery series, two standalone novels, and a film in production. She is also a podcaster who hosts Crime Café featuring other crime writers. Besides having lived nine lives already, Debbi is curious, kind, and generous of spirit. Her calm and thoughtful demeanor will draw you in as she shares her remarkable journey.
