Edmondson's passion for playing and collecting music since 2006 shines through in his DJ sets, which effortlessly traverse the sonic landscape. His mixes encompass a rich variety of genres, spanning from ambient to techno, weaving through the various shades of house, UK garage, neo-soul, disco, and modern minimal. Edmondson's latest mix for our podcast series is a masterfully curated, stylish musical narrative that gradually builds in energy with each passing chapter. It serves as the perfect soundtrack for a late-night drive through the rain-soaked streets of Manhattan, where the city's skyscrapers cast their luminous glow, and the urban pulse remains undeterred by the persistent rain. The mix skillfully strikes a balance between melancholy introspection and the irresistible grooves of a late-night adventure. When asked about his creative process for this mix, Edmondson's response offers a glimpse into the artistic mind behind the music: "I always like to think that a good mix has a natural flow embedded into it, almost like a day/night cycle. I used the first half to focus on combining some more delicate and introspective sounds (the kind which Delayed does such a good job of celebrating) and went a bit more off the cuff with some more deep & clubby stuff towards the end.
