During our trip to the Netherlands in October, we had an opportunity to meet one of the rising stars from the Dutch underground electronic scene that we've been following for a few years now, Ashley Haak, aka Luna Ludmila. The talented DJ and producer from Utrecht stole our hearts with her warm and friendly attitude, vast music knowledge, and incredible DJ skills. After contributing a track to the 'Nowhere 02' compilation on SoHaSo and remixing Dwaalgast's 'Maan' track, both of which we had the pleasure premiering, Luna Ludmila released an outstanding debut solo EP on Amsterdam-based Statetly Records in June last year. With many local and international gigs, already under her belt, including Loveland Festival, Breakfast Club, Shelter, and Paradigm, to name a few, and her upcoming debut at the infamous Awakenings festival Luna Ludmila is one the bright stars from the vibrating Dutch scene. Luna Ludmila's mix is deep and dubby, blurring the lines between house and techno with excellent track selection and smooth flow.
